Smith!We are Responsive We have Integrity We are Dynamic We exhibit ExcellencePrinciple Duties And ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic purchasing plans aligned with project goals and objectivesLead team members, provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedbackAct as project manager and partner with cross functional team to develop project requirements, specifications, and timelines to proactively plan procurement activitiesIdentify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors based on their capabilities, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and quality of goods and servicesContinuously monitor market trends, industry developments, and technological advancements to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savingsAnalyze data and generate reports on purchasing activities, performance, and cost savings for senior managementCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and legal, to ensure seamless integration and coordination of purchasing activitiesStay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to procurement and supply chain managementConduct comprehensive analysis of our supply chain management processes to identify areas of potential value creation and improvementDevelop and implement strategies to capture additional value and drive revenue growth across various business functions, such as sales, marketing, operations, and supply chainLead cost optimization initiatives, including identifying cost reduction opportunities, implementing efficiency improvements, and driving procurement strategies to enhance profitabilityDevelop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of value capture initiatives and track progress towards financial goalsCollaborate with finance and accounting teams to analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to identify areas for improvement and cost savingsKnowledge And SkillsBachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, engineering, or a related field.
