Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic Electrician with strong electrical troubleshooting experience to join our team in Dawson, MN. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on maintenance work, diagnosing electrical issues, and keeping critical plant equipment operating safely and efficiently.The ideal candidate will have experience working with industrial electrical systems, motors, controls, and preventative maintenance programs in a manufacturing or processing environment.What You’ll DoDiagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and mechanical equipmentPerform electrical maintenance on motors, control panels, wiring, sensors, switches, VFDs, and related equipmentTroubleshoot equipment failures quickly to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiencyComplete preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment and systemsRepair and/or replace broken or non-functioning equipment by analyzing problems and determining required materials or partsRead and interpret electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and technical specificationsFabricate plant items using welders, torches, band saws, presses, and other shop toolsMaintain plant sanitation and safety standardsSupport continuous improvement and reliability initiativesPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsValid MN state Electrical Journeyman or Master Electrician LicenseHigh School diploma or equivalentMinimum 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience with a strong emphasis in electrical systemsStrong working knowledge of industrial electrical troubleshooting and repairExperience with motors, electrical controls, relays, sensors, VFDs, and PLC troubleshooting preferredMechanical, construction, or manufacturing maintenance experience helpfulKnowledge of PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulationsAbility to read and understand electrical schematics, computer printouts, and equipment specificationsSkilled in operating forklifts, bobcats, and end-loadersStrong communication, organizational, and time management skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to participate in an on-call rotation as neededMust be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screenWhy Join Us?Ag Processing Inc (AGP) Is a Cooperative That Processes, Sells And Transports Soybeans, Grains, And Related Products.
