Program Manager (Java & Web Services) - Sunnyvale, CAJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a strong technical background in Java and Web Services to lead cross-functional engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of IT experience, with a proven track record of managing complex technical programs while working closely with engineering, architecture, and product teams.Required Qualifications10+ years of overall IT experience.5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or Technical Project Manager.Strong technical background in Java and enterprise application development.Solid understanding of Web Services (REST/SOAP APIs) and API integrations.Experience working with engineering teams on distributed systems and enterprise applications.Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, release management, and project lifecycle.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Experience managing multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Microservices architecture.Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and project management tools.Experience working in large enterprise technology environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end technical programs from planning through execution and delivery.Collaborate with Engineering, Product, QA, and Architecture teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Drive technical discussions involving Java applications, APIs, and Web Services.Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and blockers.Manage project schedules, roadmaps, resource planning, and stakeholder communications.Coordinate release planning and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.Track project health using Agile metrics and provide regular status updates to leadership.Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.Mandatory SkillsTechnical Program ManagementJavaWeb Services (REST/SOAP)API IntegrationSDLCAgile/ScrumStakeholder Management
