Senior Application Developeraccel bi is seeking an experienced Senior Application Developer to support a Washington State Health and Human Services initiative focused on application modernization, Power BI reporting, system integrations, and analytics dashboard development. The selected consultant will support the Consolidated Housing Assistance Information (CHAI) application and Health Related Social Needs (HRSN) reporting initiatives.Role OverviewThe consultant will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing a production web application, developing Power BI dashboards and reports, building SQL-based reporting solutions, and supporting integrations with internal and external systems. The role also involves documentation, knowledge transfer, and ongoing support activities.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, enhance, and maintain .NET-based web applications.Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and operational reports.Create SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting datasets.Develop and maintain REST API integrations.Support HRSN monitoring, eligibility, and performance reporting.Analyze existing applications and recommend improvements.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and reporting requirements.Produce technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.Ensure solutions meet accessibility and usability standards.Required Qualifications8+ years of application development experience.Strong experience with:Microsoft .NET Core / C#ASP.NET MVCPower BISQL Server, T-SQL, Stored ProceduresREST APIs and web servicesHTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery or modern JavaScript frameworksExperience supporting enterprise web applications in production environments.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience in Healthcare, Medicaid, Human Services, or Public Sector programs.Experience with large-scale reporting and analytics solutions.Familiarity with systems such as CHAI, CARE, GetCare, ProviderOne, or similar case management and social services platforms.Position DetailsRole: Senior Application DeveloperLocation: RemoteDuration: August 2026 – June 2027Employment Type: Contract / C2C / W2 (as applicable)Industry: Government / Health & Human Services
