Working in conjunction with one another to provide exceptional care and services to growing families.Role DescriptionThis is an Independent Contractor position with opportunities throughout Massachusetts. Current demand in is the Boston and surrounding areas for overnight Postpartum Doulas and Newborn Care Specialists. The role involves offering physical, emotional, and educational support to postnatal clients and their families. Responsibilities include assisting with newborn care, providing lactation support, offering labor recovery guidance, and ensuring the overall well-being of the families. Candidates will also empower and equip new parents through education and confidence-building.QualificationsProficient in Doula Services and providing pre and postnatal supportStrong knowledge and experience in postpartum recovery and newborn careSkilled in Lactation support and education for new mothersAbility to provide compassionate care and maintain a safe and nurturing environmentEffective communication, interpersonal skills, and cultural sensitivityPostpartum Doula/NCS, CPR and First Aid certification is highly preferredFlexibility to work various hours, including nights and weekends as needed
