Job Title: Press Brake Operator
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend and form metal components according to engineering drawings and job specifications. This role requires selecting proper tooling, programming or adjusting machine settings (if required), inspecting finished parts for quality, and ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate press brake machines, including loading and unloading materials
Interpret blueprints, work orders, and job specifications to determine bending requirements
Select, install, and adjust appropriate tooling for each job
Program press brake controls or adjust pre-programmed settings to achieve required bends and angles
Perform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, angle gauges, protractors)
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and consistency
Perform routine maintenance on press brakes and tooling
Troubleshoot machine issues and report malfunctions to supervision
Maintain accurate production and inspection records
Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Collaborate with team members to support production goals
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, patterns, work instructions, and tape measures
Proficiency in basic math and geometry related to bending and forming
Experience using precision measuring instruments
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
High level of attention to detail and quality
Ability to remain focused while operating machinery for the duration of a shift
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required
Commitment to following all safety regulations and procedures

Working Conditions and Hours:
Full-time position
2nd shift 3 PM - 11 PM
Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required at all times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 per hour
