Hardscape/Landscape Technician

Job SummaryThis position will support the sales team with product display installation & builds, sample deliveries, service calls, product demonstrations and other tasks associated with servicing the hardscape market. Area of Coverage: New Jersey, Eastern PA, Southern NY.Full Time: Monday – FridayHourly ($25-$30 per hour)Company Vehicle, Gas Card and Phone ProvidedResponsibilitiesSupport Nicolock staff and customers (dealers, contractor and homeowners) in the following ways:Technical Troubleshooting and RepairsProduct Display Builds & InstallationService Calls & ReportingDelivery and Logistics OperationsSample DeliveriesTrade-Show Build & SupportAssist hands-on Product DemonstrationsRequirementsThree years of hardscape or landscape industry experience preferred Verbal and written communication skills Strong time management, organization and proper decision making skills Ability to deal with a flexible, fluid schedule Travel – most travel will occur within the NJ Region. Periodic overnight travel may be required Must live in the within 20 miles to Lindenhurst, NY Bilingual English-Spanish a plus Must be self-sufficient and motivatedPhysical Requirements Must have the capability to lift materials and equipment (80 lbs.+) Must be able to work outdoors for demonstrations, repairs, display installations, and deliveries
