Support Janitor

We are seeking 2 Part-Time Support Janitors to travel and support locations. The first area will be Romulus, Ypsilanti, Canton, Ann Arbor, and Westland. The second area is Plymouth, Northville, Livonia, Wixom, Novi, and New Hudson. You will be driving to 2-3 locations per shift. Start time is flexible between 3PM and 6PM. Summary: Responsible for carrying out light and heavy cleaning tasks for an environment in an office environment. Available shift: Monday-Friday. Start time is flexible between 3PM and 6PM and ends when the jobs are complete. (Average of 20 hours per week) Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour. Also, a gas card worth $200 per month to offset travelling between locations. Essential Job Functions: Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors Clean and disinfect equipment Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces Remove garbage and recycling Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants Identify and report possible repairs Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures Performs other related duties as assigned Skills: Ability to work well under minimal supervision Ability to take direction Strong attention to detail Professionalism Knowledgeable about carpet cleaning procedures Experience: Custodial Experience: 1 year (Preferred) EEOC Statement: Servis Group is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity and inclusion.
