Role Description This part-time, remote Data Analyst role is responsible for turning raw data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic and operational decisions. On a day-to-day basis, the Data Analyst will collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources; build and maintain reports and dashboards; and perform exploratory and statistical analyses. The role includes designing and updating data models to support business questions, identifying trends and anomalies, and preparing concise summaries of findings. The Data Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into analytical tasks, and communicate results in an accessible way. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to manage time effectively in a remote environment.QualificationsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and derive meaningful insights.Proficiency in data analytics and data modeling, including experience working with spreadsheets, databases, or BI tools.Foundational knowledge of statistics, such as descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, and basic forecasting techniques.Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders in written and verbal formats.Relevant experience or coursework in data analysis, business analytics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.Familiarity with analytical or scripting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, or R) is preferred.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work autonomously in a remote, part-time setting.Prior experience in a data-focused role or internships is an advantage but not required for qualified candidates with strong foundational skills.
