You won’t be creating slides about AI—you’ll be designing and shipping production-grade GenAI systems that will form the foundation of an advanced engineering program.🔧What You’ll Be Building & DeliveringProduction-grade GenAI systems designed for real-world use and instructional valueHands-on, build-first learning experiences where engineers ship, evaluate, and defend their solutionsAssessment frameworks and technical challenges that uphold a high, measurable engineering standardCollaborative workflows with programme and curriculum stakeholders to shape technical contentContinuously updated AI systems and materials that remain relevant, practical, and version-readySystems and exercises that explicitly highlight trade-offs, failure modes, and key engineering decisionsFully built solutions refined through iteration, review cycles, and dry runsOpportunities to extend your work into programme delivery as part of the founding faculty🔧 What You’ll Be Working OnBuilding AI-powered applications using leading LLM APIsDeveloping RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems over real-world datasetsDesigning agent-based workflows with tool integration and orchestrationImplementing evaluation, guardrails, and observability for AI systemsApplying LLMOps practices including deployment, monitoring, and performance optimizationSolving challenges around scalability, latency, and system reliability✅ Requirements✔️ 7+ years proficiency in Python, with experience building scalable applications✔️ Strong understanding of web frameworks such as Django or Flask✔️ Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases✔️ Familiarity with Git and version control workflows✔️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to debug, optimize, and improve code💡 What We’re Looking ForEngineers eager to apply their Python skills to be trained in and deliver AI-driven systemsStrong software engineering fundamentalsInterest in working at the intersection of AI, backend systems, and real-world deployment
