Injection Molding Process Specialist

HTI is seeking anexperienced Injection Molding Machine/Process Specialist (1st Shift) with a Tier 1 automotive manufacturer in Dallas, NC (located 8 miles north of Gastonia, NC).This position will focus on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and maintaining injection molding equipment and associated production systems to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. This position is Direct Hire, Monday-Friday on 1st shift. The pay range is $25.00 - $35.00 / hour, depending on experience.Requirements:5+ years of experience as a Process Technician working with injection molding machineryExperience with electrical systems and schematicsBasic PLC programming and operation (Allen Bradley, Omron, GE, C programming, etc.)Experience programming automation equipmentAbility to interpret machine manuals, blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematicsStrong mechanical aptitude and analytical skillsExperience with Engel injection molding machinery preferredExperience with material conveyor systems and dehumidification systemsJob Duties:The Injection Molding Machine/Process Specialist will be responsible for supporting production operations, maintaining injection molding machinery, and ensuring optimal processing conditions. Must be self-motivated with strong technical aptitude and capable of supporting continuous improvements within the molding department.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair injection molding machines across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsPerform mold changes, color changes, and material changes as neededEstablish mold-specific processes within target cycle timesRead and interpret blueprints; perform inspections and measurements to ensure product qualityPerform preventive maintenance (PMs) on molding equipmentModify, repair, and rebuild plant machinery and equipmentProvide detailed instructions to others on equipment maintenance and repairWire control cabinets according to schematic diagramsActively participate in safety programs and promote safe work practicesIdentify and implement production improvements to reduce cost and enhance performanceSupport installation of new equipment and equipment relocationMaintain awareness of machine condition and identify potential issues proactivelyWhat They Offer:Full benefits package - Medical, Dental, Vision, EAP, 401k MatchVacation TimeAbout HTIHuman Technologies, Inc.
