This role offers the opportunity to lead, inspire, and deliver exceptional service within one of Northeast Florida’s premier luxury destinations.QualificationsEducation:High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred in a fitness-related field. Must be able to effectively communicate in English with members, guests, and colleagues.Training & ExperienceMinimum of 5 years’ experience in a professional fitness center environmentExperience across multiple areas including aerobics, aquatics, fitness center operations, front desk, and nurseryCPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications requiredNationally recognized fitness instructor certification requiredJob KnowledgeStrong knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, and physiologyComprehensive understanding of fitness center operations, including aquatics, group fitness, programming (including special populations), and special eventsProficiency with fitness equipment and safety protocolsExperience with member relations, vendor partnerships, team leadership, and budgetingPosition SummaryThis role supports the Executive Director of Wellness in directing the daily operations of the Fitness Center.
