Operations Intern (AI & Systems)Sure, the job description says “intern,” but this isn’t about shadowing or busy work. You’ll be stepping into real operational challenges and helping us rethink how the agency works, from systems and data to AI, training and internal tools.This role sits at the intersection of operations, technology and change management. You’ll help us move from fragmented, legacy systems to a more streamlined, AI-enabled environment, and bring people along in the process.What you’ll doClean up and improve how we workAudit and organize file systems across Egnite and SharePointIdentify outdated or redundant content and partner with teams on cleanup and migrationSupport system transitions (e.g., password management, access tools) as neededHelp rethink and rebuild our intranet into a more intuitive, usable workspaceTurn repetitive processes into efficient, AI-supported workflowsStay on top of emerging trends in AI and share what matters to the teamIdentify opportunities to introduce AI into everyday workflowsHelp build and test new AI-powered processes that improve efficiencySupport agency-wide adoption by making AI tools and resources approachable and usefulCreate clarity through better knowledge managementAudit existing training materials (decks, videos, documentation)Help consolidate and organize content into a single source of truthBring consistency to how we document and share knowledge across the agencyTraits for successYou can translate complex ideas into simple, clear languageYou’re technically fluent and comfortable working across systems, tools and dataYou know that there’s an art to identifying the problem and asking the questionsYou think in systems and enjoy bringing order to messy environmentsYou’re proactive, you don’t wait to be told what’s brokenYou’re curious about AI and excited to apply it in practical waysYou’re comfortable working across teams and building alignmentYou care as much about adoption as you do about implementationWhat makes this role differentThis isn’t a traditional IT internship.
