We are seeking engineers who wish to grow their careers and want to become part of a technically strong and growth-oriented company focused on bringing innovative solutions to the difficult mission problems facing our customers.DescriptionWe have an immediate need for Lab Manager to provide provide support for onsite incident response to civilian Government agencies and critical asset owners who experience cyber-attacks, providing immediate investigation and resolution. Contract personnel perform investigations to characterize of the severity of breaches, develop mitigation plans, and assist with the restoration of services. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation and testing of cloud-based infrastructure and services, with a focus on Red Hat-based systems across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.Design, deploy, and test scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using Red Hat technologiesImplement and test IaaS/PaaS solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Automate provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Red Hat SatelliteCollaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security standards and policiesApplying advanced analytical skills and technical resources at the tactical levels and implementing infrastructure solutions supporting command decision making and execution of mission requirements.Automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible, Terraform, or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment in the lab environment.Stay up-to-date with OpenShift and Kubernetes advancements, providing recommendations for improvementsExamine and identify efficiencies that can be made to existing procedures, with approval from the customer.ClearanceMust be a US Citizen. Must have a current TS/SCI clearance. Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.ExperienceBS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering or related degree or HS Diploma and 7+ years lab management or systems administration experience.Required SkillsU.S. CitizenshipMust have an active DoD Secret clearance, TS/SCI clearance is preferred.Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.6+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Linux Systems Engineer, or similar role.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)Desired SkillsProficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCDStrong knowledge of Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) administrationUnderstanding of networking and security best practices in cloud environmentsKnowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)DoD 8140.01 IAT Level IIBenefitsErias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits.
