Salary and Benefits as per MESA Negotiated AgreementStart Date: 2026/2027 School YearReports To: PrincipalPosition SummaryProvides clerical and confidential support to the Principal. Serves as a key point of contact for staff, students and families, ensuring efficient daily operations of the office. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.Items outlined are representative but not comprehensive and there may be other duties as assigned.Core Responsibilities1. Register, enroll and withdraw students and maintain student permanent record files2. Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date student residency records3. Request and release new and withdrawn student records4. Answer phone and route calls appropriately5. Manage emails and general inquiries6. Handle mail and deliveries7. Order office and educational supplies8. Arrange for repair of copy machines as needed9. Track placement of substitute teachers10. Generate requisitions in the Fiscal Application for teachers and the principal11. Manage intake, payment processing and deposits of student class fees, fines and activity funds12. Maintain faculty and staff payroll and attendance records, and forward to the treasurer's office every two weeks13. Administrator for Progress Book Suite and FinalForms14. Update and enter all data in Student Information System (SIS), including data for Education Management Information System (EMIS), DataMap, FinalForms, student profiles, special education data, schedules, report cards, special reports, etc.15. Coordinate distribution of report cards, honor and merit rolls16. Coordinate teacher opening and closing year forms and related materials17. Coordinate, update and submit the materials for the student handbook and staff handbook18. Manage a calendar for building and grounds use19. Compile yearly reports for the school nurse20. Assist Technology Liaison with updates and information for the school website21. Perform general typing, filing, and other routine office tasks22.
