Inventory Controller Wieland Designs - Goshen, IN 46258 Looking for steady work where attention to detail and problem-solving matter? Wieland Designs is a family-owned company since 1976, and we're hiring an Inventory Controller for our Goshen facility which designs and manufactures high-end furniture for Fortune 500 companies. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in accuracy, staying organized, and keeping production moving. Schedule MondayThursday, 5:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m. (4x10 schedule) (Overtime or occasional Friday/Saturday work may be required based on production needs) What You'll Do Monitor production schedules and material needs to keep production running Ensure timely availability of materials for all work areas Perform weekly cycle counts (target: 95%+ accuracy) Support shipping, receiving, and manufacturing as needed Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies Communicate with supervisors, buyers, and production teams Use computer systems to track inventory and report activity Maintain organized material flow and storage areas What You Bring Forklift or pallet jack experience Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Clear communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Basic computer skills Reliable attendance and dependability Ability to adapt to changing production needs Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to step in where needed Inventory, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience Nice to Have (We'll Train If Needed) Experience with cycle counting or ERP systems Work Environment On your feet 810 hours per shift Frequent walking, lifting, and material handling Lift 1040 lbs regularly; up to 80 lbs occasionally Manufacturing environment (low to moderate noise, fabric dust) Benefits & Perks Weekly pay Participation bonus ($1/hour for working full scheduled shift and required overtime) Paid time off and holidays Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life insurance Retirement plan with company match Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Training and development opportunities Offer Requirements This position is contingent upon a post-offer drug screen and E-Verify.
