The project is being developed with a strong focus on ethical design, creator empowerment, transparency, privacy, and responsible platform architecture. Previous UPrice planning has emphasised simulated markets, creator scoring, social data integration, compliance-aware design, and avoiding real-money securities risk during early MVP development.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and ambitious Full Stack Developer to join Olympic Polymers in a full-time, on-site role based in Clayton South, VIC.This role will involve working directly with a Quantitative Engineer, the company’s two founders, and a small innovation team to design, build, and deploy software across multiple projects, including UPrice, Truth Lens, and other early-stage technology ventures.The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end software development, including front-end interfaces, back-end systems, databases, APIs, dashboards, authentication flows, integrations, and scalable application architecture.This is an ideal opportunity for a developer who wants to work across real-world business systems, startup-style product development, AI-assisted platforms, and data-driven digital products.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications.Build clean, responsive, and user-friendly front-end interfaces.Develop secure and scalable back-end services, APIs, and databases.Work with the Quantitative Engineer on data models, scoring systems, dashboards, and algorithm-driven product features.Contribute to the technical development of UPrice, including creator profiles, simulated trading mechanics, social metrics, valuation dashboards, and user account systems.Support development of Truth Lens and other founder-led software projects.Integrate third-party APIs where required, including social media, analytics, authentication, payment, or data services.Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing systems.Collaborate with founders, engineers, and external advisors to turn business ideas into working software.Help shape early technical decisions around architecture, security, scalability, and product design.Maintain clean documentation and version-controlled code.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong proficiency in front-end development, including:HTMLCSSJavaScriptReact, Next.js, Vue, or similar modern frameworksExperience in back-end web development, including:Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby, Java, C#, or similarREST APIs and/or GraphQLServer-side application architectureExperience with databases, such as:PostgreSQLMySQLMongoDBFirebase / SupabaseUnderstanding of:Full-stack software developmentAPI integrationAuthentication and user managementCloud deploymentGit / GitHubDebugging and testingSecure coding practicesAbility to work collaboratively in a small, fast-moving team.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to turn founder concepts and product requirements into working software.Highly Regarded SkillsExperience or interest in any of the following will be highly valued:Fintech, trading platforms, investment apps, or simulated market systems.Creator economy platforms, social media analytics, or influencer tools.AI-assisted products, data analysis, or machine learning integrations.Quantitative modelling, scoring systems, ranking algorithms, or dashboards.Product development from MVP to launch.UX/UI design and product prototyping.Cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance-aware development.Agile development methods.Cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Vercel, Netlify, or DigitalOcean.Mobile development using React Native or Flutter.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is someone who:Enjoys building products from concept to launch.Can work independently while collaborating closely with founders.Is excited by startups, innovation, data, AI, fintech-style products, and creator platforms.Can move between front-end, back-end, database, and deployment tasks.Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Is comfortable working on multiple projects at different stages of development.Wants to have a meaningful role in shaping new digital products, not just maintaining existing systems.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.Equivalent practical experience will also be strongly considered.Previous commercial development experience preferred, but highly capable emerging developers are encouraged to apply.Why Join Us?This role offers the opportunity to work within an established Australian business while also contributing to ambitious technology ventures at an early stage.You will work directly with decision-makers, founders, and technical specialists on projects that combine software, data, social platforms, creator monetisation, AI, and commercial innovation.This is a hands-on role for someone who wants responsibility, variety, and the chance to help build products with real growth potential.
