Direct client is looking for a Java Dev based out of the Sunnyvale, CA location.
JD:
Requirements:
Must have written code from the ground up
Java, J2EE, Spring or other MVC framework programming skills.
Demonstrated expertise in multi-tiered application development, and familiarity with design considerations such as Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), performance, scalability, re-usability and flexibility.
Experience working on eCommerce sites
Experience with NoSQL (Cassandra, Mongo or Couch)
Extensive experience with web application servers such as Tomcat, WebObjects, or WebLogic.
Familiarity and experience with packaged or custom CMS solutions.
5 - 8 years overall Software Engineer/Developer experience.
Must be a self-starter and comfortable with a start-up like environment.
At least 5 years experience with OO Java programming.
Developing and consuming RESTful services.
Familiarity with Maven.
