Accounts Payable Customer Liaison

At Sunline, the Accounts Payable Customer Liaison plays a crucial role in managing the A/P process, working directly with carriers to ensure smooth communication and build lasting relationships with our valued vendor partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for carriers, handling inquiries via phone, email, and text, and ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Maintain consistent, outgoing communication with carriers to foster strong working relationships.
Review, prioritize, and process A/P payments, ensuring all details are accurate and complete.
Document and track communication with carriers for analysis and follow-up purposes.
Manage carrier data within our RMIS system, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
Analyze system data to identify and target carrier preferences and areas of interest.
Vet new carriers to ensure they meet Sunline's criteria and standards.
Address urgent issues during night/weekend hours as needed (rare occurrences).
Perform additional duties and assist the Director as required.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university.
A minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience.
Experience in customer-facing roles is highly desired.
Knowledge and Skills:
Proficiency in Excel is essential.
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
High level of ethics and integrity.
Friendly, approachable personality with excellent communication skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on results.
Willingness to engage in proactive client outreach is critical.
