Make a difference with us!Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure timely submission of timesheets and other payroll documentationLead, guide, and assist in training lower-level personnel and/or students as assignedDeliver competent patient care in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings within the scope of practiceAssist with hiring by utilizing Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to screen and select potential candidatesEnsure adherence to field policies and processes, timely completion of required paperwork, and proper use of systemsMaintain professional interactions with healthcare personnel and patients, including those with disabilities or injuriesAccurately document required information in EMS charts, including PCRs, vehicle inspections, and inventory checksEnsure cleanliness of equipment and replace used or damaged suppliesAdhere to company and local agency policies, procedures, and protocols for emergency treatment and transportationAttend refresher programs and continuing education sessions as required by the medical directorMaintain a professional, courteous, ethical demeanor, collaborate effectively within a team environmentMaintains knowledge of, implements, and enforces departmental policies, procedures, and protocolSafely operate and maintain emergency vehicles in compliance with relevant laws during patient transportationProvide Lift Assist and demand truck deployment as neededPhysical DemandsMust be physically capable of operating various vehicles and equipment essential to the job duties of an EMS provider.Requires frequent bending, sitting, kneeling, moving, and lifting patients and equipment weighing at least 125 pounds.Ability to push and pull objects exceeding 50 pounds.Must be able to drive/ride in an ambulance for extended periods of time without issue.Physical agility is essential to lift and move patients safely.Physically strenuous and can be emotionally challenging.QualificationsCurrent CPRValid driver's license and good driving recordACLS (AHA) or ALS (American Red Cross) certification recommended – Paramedics onlyCurrent position specific state certification or a NREMT specific certification with ability to obtain reciprocity is required prior to start dateSelf-confidence, emotional stability, good judgment, and tolerance for high stressAbility to handle adverse situations effectivelyMust have the ability to effectively interact and communicate with patients, co-workers and administrationStrong time management and prioritization abilities.Proven ability to lead and mentor teams while fostering accountabilityExcellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsMust have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, written, oral or diagnostic reportsCertified EMT/Paramedic License for your state of employmentWhat We OfferHealth Insurance: Medical, Dental, Vision, Health savings account, and Flexible spending accountRetirement Plans: 401K and Roth 401K, with a company matchPaid Time OffEmployer Paid: Basic Life Insurance and Long-Term DisabilitySupplemental Plans: Short-Term Disability, Life, Critical Illness, Accident InsuranceProfessional Development: Free access to CAPCE-accredited training through our Learning Management System powered by FlightBridge, along with recertification courses for American Heart and American Red Cross, as well as Tuition Reimbursement and Continuous EducationWho We AreFor over 35 years, MMT has been at the forefront of innovation, continuously expanding to support our team members and provide efficient, reliable interfacility ambulance patient transportation for our healthcare partners.
