Software Engineer
Document, design and develop web and mobile applications in Java to be used for supporting and implementing features in ExtraView product offerings. Localize software for user messages and metadata titles as needed. Report feature defect repair, debug, and update new feature coding based on user and market requirements and locale-specific browser issues. Apply ExtraView features to mobile and hand-held devices using graphical user interfaces based on locale-specific phones. Create and execute performance test plans with JMeter.
Requirements
Experience developing databases in a web-based environment and within a Java framework;
Experience in the design and development web applications with Java, JavaScript, HTML, Ajax, HTML5, JQuery, JSON, XML, and MySQL on Tomcat or other servlet-capable application server;
Experience working in the following software environments Apache, Apache Tomcat, IIS, Unix/Linux development, Microsoft Windows, Web servers, J2EE servlets, and Eclipse;
Experience using source control tools, including CVS and Perforce;
Experience creating and executing QA test plans;
Experience developing and testing mobile applications with Eclipse, Xcode, or Visual Studio; and,
Experience in native smart phone application development using iOS, Android, and/or Windows Phone.
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related technical field.
2 years of experience in Software Engineer, Sr. Software Engineer, or in a related occupation
