Position SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team on the night shift. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult and geriatric populations within a coordinated healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is committed to excellence, teamwork, and delivering safe, effective nursing care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in alignment with the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nursing standards and best practices.Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult and geriatric patients.Demonstrate competency in medical-surgical nursing skills, including:Clinical assessmentsEquipment use and managementMedication administration and managementAccurate and timely documentationCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and optimize patient care.Monitor patientMonitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition.Educate patients and families regarding care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions.Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.QualificationsGraduate of an accredited school of nursingCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of New HampshireCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferredStrong clinical judgment and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
