Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description Description: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance team to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This role coordinates maintenance activities, manages personnel, and drives continuous improvement in equipment performance and uptime. This person reports to Maintenance Engineering Manager.Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty to a competent level. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Supervise, train, and lead maintenance technicians and support staffPlan, prioritize, and assign daily maintenance work (preventive, predictive, and corrective)Ensure timely response to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtimeMonitor and improve equipment reliability and overall plant performanceEnforce safety policies, procedures, and regulatory complianceConduct routine inspections of equipment and facilitiesMaintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventoryCoordinate with production and other departments to align maintenance schedulesManage spare parts inventory and control maintenance costsAssist in capital projects, equipment installations, and upgradesIdentify root causes of failures and implement corrective actionsSupport continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, TPM, etc.)Perform other duties as assigned by management.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferredWhile performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to:Frequently required to walk, climb, or maintain balance.Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Regularly required to stand for extended periods; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.Must frequently lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 poundsWhile performing the job duties, the employee is regularly exposed to:Construction Environment with Dust and Noise when working in the field.General Warehouse Environment, not temperature controlledAirports, airplanes, and other places that are associated with travelling domestically and/or internationally
