SERVICE & EXPEDITER — NOW HIRING Nationally Recognized Glendale Restaurant (LA Times Top 101 • NYT Top 50 • Michelin Guide)Pay: $16.50/hr base + Guaranteed Total $20–22/hr 100% FOH & BOH tip pool POSITION: Service & Expo  (1-3 positions available)Part-time or full-time available Mini Kabob is seeking a highly organized, fast-paced, hospitality-driven Service & Expo Lead to help manage front counter flow, guest experience, online order coordination, and order accuracy during high-volume service.This role is critical to maintaining speed, organization, hospitality, and operational flow throughout service. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates clearly under pressure, moves with urgency, and takes pride in delivering a polished guest experience while supporting the kitchen and front-of-house team.Responsibilities Greet guests and assist first-time customers with menu navigation Manage pickup flow, online orders, and customer handoff process Check all orders for accuracy before handoff Verify sauces, garnishes, modifiers, labels, and packaging details Coordinate ticket flow between front counter and kitchen Manage delivery driver flow and order staging Monitor wait times and communicate delays proactively Maintain organization and cleanliness of front counter and pickup areas Restock beverages, sauces, utensils, labels, and packaging supplies Identify missing items before orders leave the restaurant Assist with catering order staging and large family orders Help manage pacing and organization during high-volume rush periods Support quick and professional guest issue resolution Run food and assist service team as needed Assist with phone calls and catering inquiries during slower periods Qualifications Strong sense of urgency and ability to multitask under pressure Excellent communication and hospitality skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Ability to work quickly while maintaining accuracy Team-oriented mindset with willingness to support all areas of service Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment Prior restaurant, expo, hospitality, or counter-service experience preferred Mini Kabob is a family-owned Armenian restaurant established in 1987, focused on quality ingredients, hospitality, and high-volume service with attention to detail.
