Job DescriptionJackson HealthPros is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Bristol, Tennessee.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Registered Respiratory TherapistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: 05/18/2026Duration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 8 hoursEmployment Type: TravelWe're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders\n\nMinimum Requirements:\nAssociate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.Current Tennessee state license in good standing with the State License Board.Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.One year experience as an RRT in an acute care or hospital setting preferred; experience with ventilator management and mechanical ventilation required.BLS certification required. ACLS certification preferred.Experience with arterial blood gas sampling, oximetry, capnography, and 12-lead EKG performance.Ability to perform airway management skills including suctioning, tracheostomy care and endotracheal tube insertion using direct or video laryngoscopy.Experience assisting with bronchoscopy, chest tube management, and pleural drainage procedures preferred.Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and perform routine checks on various ventilators and respiratory equipment.\n\nAssignment Details\nFacility type: Hospital.Shift name: Days.Shift details: Day (5x8).Duration: 13 Week assignment.Number of positions available: 2.Candidates may be required to float to other units within the hospital as needed.\n\nLocation Highlights\n\nDiscover Bristol, TN and the surrounding Tri-Cities region.
