Rentals Team Member - Dollywood Theme Park - Full Time Seasonal

The ideal Rentals Team Member will be equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator.The Rentals Team Member is responsible for all aspects of rentals including strollers, ECV's, wheelchairs, lockers, etc. This includes safety, friendliness, cleanliness and line speed within assigned areas to support the Merchandise division.Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to display and live out Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable.Summary of Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesGreet guests and initiate friendly interactionProvide Guest excellence which exceeds expectations, answer questions, and provide park informationEffectively perform the duties of rental sales of ECVs, Wheelchairs, Strollers, Lockers to include all sales functions, rental agreements, refunds, and exchangesRetrieve daily online sales report and reserve rental equipmentVerbally instruct Guests on ECV operational instructionsAssist in the daily operation of morning set-up to include pulling the rental equipment for display, clipboards with rental agreements, and having on hand disability guidesEffectively perform cash handling procedures for the daily locker rentals and key depositsAssist in the evening maintenance of the rental equipment to include cleaning and stacking strollersMaintain a sense of urgency towards the area of operation to reduce the guest wait timeMaintain a dependable work attendance and flexibility with assigned work schedulesAttend all required training and meetingsComplete required paperwork in a timely mannerAlways maintain confidentialityFollow all safety standards to include reporting any violation of standardsManagement reserves the right to change and/or add to these duties at any timeEducation and Experience RequiredMust be at least 16 years of ageMust know the safety critical standardsAbility to use basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divideMust be able to operate a cash register, phone equipment, credit card machine, receipt printer, and calculatorMust be able to pass a basic math testMust successfully complete a post-employment offer background check and drug screenExcellent verbal communicator - accurate, consistent, and detailedKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAble to make a friendly impression when speaking to or corresponding with guests, vendors, and other employeesMust reflect Dollywood's image by being genuinely friendly and caring and by taking pride in workMust be self-motivated and disciplinedMust be able to prioritize and complete work assignments on a timely basisMust maintain strict confidentiality and judgment regarding privileged informationMust be committed to continuous improvementMust maintain a professional appearance with good personal hygieneMust promote and support a "team" work environment by cooperating and helping co-workersMust be productive in a fast-paced environmentMust maintain dependable work attendance and flexibility with assigned work schedules including any required overtime, evenings, weekends and holidaysMust be sensitive to the needs of our Guests and feel empowered to act to meet their needs within company guidelinesMust be able to utilize effective communication, problem solving, conflict management and interpersonal skillsAble to comprehend instructions and retain informationAble to perform duties consistently with creating a safe and secure environment for hosts and guestsAble to be flexible and handle frequent changes in prioritiesAble to add, subtract, multiply and divide with accuracyAble to communicate effectively with Guests and Hosts using approved communication methodsAble to speak clearly to operate a two-way radioMust be willing to perform other work functions as assignedPhysical and Cognitive RequirementsLifting and Carrying: Position may require occasional to frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs. utilizing company's safety guidelines for safe liftingMobility: Position may require intermittent to prolonged sitting, standing and/or walking for duration of shift, up to 13 hours. Employees may also be required to travel to various areas on property which may include changes in terrain, stairs and uneven surfacesRepetitive Movements: This position may require performing repetitive movements and tasks throughout the shift, including repeated use of hands, arms or other body parts as part of typical job functionsEnvironmental Conditions: This position requires the ability to perform work tasks in varying weather conditions to include extreme cold and heat.
