Electronics Technician/Assembler

Job Description General Job Description Assemble and test mechanical, electrical, and electro-optic assemblies for high-temperature camera systems Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electro-optic assemblies. Provide customer technical support. Keep detailed records, organize parts/inventory, assist with shop clean-up. Eventual progression to travel to customer sites across the U.S. for installation and repair of above.Requirements High School Diploma (Trade school certificate or Associates Degree in Electronics is preferred.) A working knowledge of AC and DC electrical principles is required. 3-5 years’ experience in a technical field is preferred. Microsoft Office/Computer knowledge Excellent organizational skills, problem solving techniques, and accuracy are essential. Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize duties. Ability to fully understand and follow complex oral and written instructions, schematics, and procedures. Must be reasonably fit and able to carry up to 30 lbs. up several flights of stairs. Must have a good driving record and have reliable transportation. No smoking or alcohol allowed on premises or at work sites.
