DescriptionTSP is engaged in a direct hire search for one of our clients. Our customer is a leading global biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of novel therapies to address high unmet medical needs and improve the lives of patients.As a result of the company’s Medical Affairs department expansion, our client is looking for a talented and motivated Medical Science Liaison Neurology to join the team as a scientific and therapeutic expert committed to scientific exchange within the healthcare community. This position may be filled at a senior level given the experience and background of the successful candidate. This is a field-based position.ResponsibilitiesEngage in scientific exchange with expert healthcare professionals as part of the Medical Affairs teamParticipate in Medical Affairs project assignmentsCommunicate scientific concepts effectively to multiple audiences — verbally, graphically, and in writingContribute to key department functions (e.g., medical information) and inter-departmental initiativesQualificationsDoctoral degree required (PhD, PharmD, MD)Prior experience in neurology-related field required. Preference given to those with pharmaceutical industry experience in multiple sclerosis. Immunology experience a plusPrevious experience (2+ years) as an MSL or in Medical Affairs strongly preferredExperience in clinical research and/or direct patient care idealExemplary written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to a variety of audience typesAdept at building and maintaining relationships with othersProficient in the use of Microsoft Office applicationsDemonstrated ability to adapt within a dynamic environmentWillingness to travel (75%) and easy access to a major metropolitan airportThe anticipated salary range for this role is $170,000 - $215,000.TSP Talent Solutions and our customers are affirmative action/equal opportunity employers (Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disabled)
