Test Software Engineer

We're Hiring: Test Software Engineer Location: Sunnyvale, CA (100% Onsite) Job Type: Full-Time Key Skills: LabVIEW, Python, Matlab, C# Are you passionate about building test automation solutions for high-tech hardware systems? Role Overview: As a Test Software Engineer, you'll develop and debug LabVIEW and Python code to control and interface with various test equipment—like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, lasers, and optical transceivers—used in high-precision optical bench testing environments. You'll collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to support both sustaining and new product introduction (NPI) efforts. What You’ll Do: Design, develop, and optimize test software using LabVIEW, Python, and Matlab Interface with custom PCBAs, test instruments, and NI hardware using USB and DLLs Analyze data, optimize algorithms, and improve test methods Maintain and extend legacy test systems with minimal documentation Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate test systems into production Deliver high-quality documentation and user support for software tools Must-Have Skills: Proficient in LabVIEW, Matlab, Python, and C# Experience sustaining and developing test systems for high-tech manufacturing Strong background in test equipment and test automation Excellent debugging, documentation, and communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Familiarity with DFX (Design for Testability/Manufacturability)
