Paraprofessionals - Elementary (multiple positions)

Description: Multiple Full-time Paraprofessional positions and one Part-time Paraprofessional at the elementary level, working 5.5 to 7.0 hours/day, 186 days/year to start 8/17/2026 with a half hour unpaid lunch. The elementary location and details of each position are as follows: Paraprofessional, Autistic Support at South Eastern Intermediate working tentatively 8:00 am - 3:30 pm, 7 hours/day; Paraprofessional at Fawn Area Elementary, working tentatively 8:15 am - 3:15 pm, 6.5 hours/day; 3. Part-time Paraprofessional at Stewartstown Elementary, working tentatively 9:00 am - 3:00 pm; 5.5 hours/day.Salary Range: Range III, beginning of range is $15.50 per hour, hourly wage will be determined based on experience. The position works all 181 student days plus three additional staff development days and is paid for two holidays (Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day). The full-time positions offer medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. All positions are part of the PA School Employee Retirement System and receive paid sick, personal, and bereavement days each year.Job Summary: Provide academic support to students under the direction of the Administration and/or classroom teacher as well as offer a variety of clerical support as assigned by the administration.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must possess positive communication skills, organization skills and the ability to work with students and staff. Paraprofessionals are required to complete the process to be deemed "Highly Qualified" or have at least the number of college credits that equates to an associate degree.Application Procedure: All applicants must complete the online application and upload resume and cover letter.
