Senior Director of Property Management - Residential PortfolioLocation: Stamford, CTCompensation: $200,000 - $250,000 base salary + bonus potentialOur client, a long-established and highly respected real estate investment, management, and development firm, is seeking a Senior Director of Property Management to lead operations across a substantial residential portfolio throughout the Northeast.This is a pivotal executive leadership role overseeing a fully integrated, self-managed platform spanning conventional multifamily and manufactured housing communities across multiple states. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational performance, enhancing resident experience, and leading a large, multi-layered property management organization.Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic and operational leadership across a multi-state residential portfolio, ensuring alignment with ownership objectives and long-term investment strategyOversee all aspects of property management operations, including leasing, maintenance, tenant relations, and financial performanceLead, mentor, and develop a broad team of property managers, office staff, and leasing professionals, fostering a high-performance cultureDrive operational efficiency through the development and implementation of best-in-class policies, procedures, and process improvementsMonitor portfolio financials, including budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and expense controls, to ensure revenue optimization and profitabilityEnsure full compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations, as well as internal policies and risk management standardsOversee vendor relationships, procurement processes, and accounts payable functions to maintain service quality and cost efficiencyQualifications:7–10+ years of progressive property management experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership capacityDemonstrated success managing large-scale residential portfolios, ideally across multiple regionsStrong financial acumen with experience overseeing budgets, reporting, and performance metricsProven leadership ability with experience managing and developing large teamsDeep understanding of property management operations, systems, and regulatory environmentsExperience with property management software (Rent Manager preferred)Key Competencies:Strategic thinking and decision-makingLeadership and team developmentOperational excellence and process optimizationConflict resolution and negotiationBenefits:401(k) with company matchComprehensive health and dental insurancePaid time offRetirement planTuition reimbursementAdditional Requirements:Ability to commute to or relocate to Stamford, CTWillingness to undergo a background check upon offerThe Opportunity:This is a rare opportunity to join a stable, privately held organization with a long-standing reputation and significant portfolio scale.
