The company is backed by General Catalyst, Sequoia Capital, and Y Combinator, with customers ranging from publicly traded companies such as Toast and Dayforce to high-growth technology companies such as Ramp and Vanta.Role OverviewAs an early member of the engineering team, this Software Engineer - Agentic Coding will drive 0-to-1 development on critical AI agent initiatives. The role involves building AI-powered products for large enterprise customers, working across React, TypeScript, Rust, and Ruby, and collaborating closely with Product, GTM, Design, and company leadership. This is an intense, fast-paced, high-autonomy environment based on-site at the company’s San Francisco HQ 5 days per week.What You'll DoGo 0 to 1 on new AI agent initiatives, partnering directly with Product and GTM teams to unlock automation opportunities for large enterprise customers.Build delightful user interfaces in collaboration with the design team that make AI intuitive for non-technical end users.Design, architect, and implement scalable infrastructure to support dynamic enterprise datasets and high-quality AI applications.Take ownership of end-to-end project execution, from product decisions through delivery, to create exceptional customer experiences.Work directly with company founders to understand customer needs and shape product decisions that improve the user experience.Who You Are3+ years of relevant full-stack software engineering experience.Comfortable with ambiguity, excited to wear multiple hats in a fast-moving startup environment, and able to drive results with urgency.Self-driven, self-motivated, and a fast learner with the ability to own open-ended projects end to end.Experience with React, Ruby, TypeScript, SQL, AWS, or Rust is a plus.Experience building AI applications, AI agents, customer-facing SDKs, external APIs, or developer tools is a plus.Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future; this role does not offer visa sponsorship.
