Lead Java Developer

Rate: $75-85/hr on W2, No third party candidatesKey Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, SpringBoot, and Angular• Lead and contribute to end-to-end system design and development, ensuringhigh-quality, maintainable code• Drive technical projects forward, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and prioritiesstay aligned• Partner with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate theminto optimal technical solutions• Identify and implement process improvements across the SDLC, fromdevelopment through deployment• Leverage AI tools and technologies to improve coding efficiency, automation, anddevelopment workflows• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, guiding bestpractices and coding standards• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, QA, and other engineering teamsLeadership Expectations• Act as a technical lead on projects, ensuring work is properly scoped, assigned,and tracked• Coordinate team efforts to keep initiatives on schedule and align with goals• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, supporting their technical growth• Proactively identify risks, blockers, and dependencies—and drive resolution• Promote accountability and continuous improvement within the teamRequired Qualifications• 7+ years of experience in full-stack development• Strong hands-on experience with:o Javao Spring Booto Angular• Proven experience leading projects or guiding engineering teams• Experience analyzing business workflows and translating them into technicalsolutions• Comfort working across the full development lifecyclePreferred Qualifications• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., code generation,automation, optimization tools)• Strong understanding of system design and architecture• Experience improving or optimizing engineering processes and workflows• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
