Working with LEGO, VEXTM GO, and VEXTM IQ platforms, campers design, build, and program robots to meet technical challenges and participate in competitions. For more information regarding this camp, please click here: Cranbrook Schools Robotics CampDutiesInteract with families and campers (boys and girls, grades 1-7) in a positive, nurturing and enriching manner. Create and execute fun and engaging lesson plans and develop materials required for specific activity content and present them for approval to the camp director in a timely manner. Oversee all assigned activities and supply inventories for the activity area. Supervise and manage all campers to ensure consistent engagement and safety for each camper during the activity. Provide enriching and creative growth experiences within the camp activities.QualificationsHigh school diploma; experience in activity; teaching experience; certified in activity or be open to early training (if applicable); superior problem-solving skills and ability to relate with campers, staff, and parents.PreferredCurrently attending or graduated from college; camp employment experience.TimeframeOrientation begins the week of June 9.
