APPLY TODAY!Position SummarySpectra Tech, Inc. is seeking a Senior / Principal Structural Engineer to support engineering projects requiring independent technical judgment and advanced structural engineering expertise. This role involves developing and reviewing structural calculations, drawings, construction specifications, and specialized analyses in support of complex projects, including those within DOE and nuclear facility environments.Scope of WorkThe Structural Engineer will be responsible for independently performing advanced structural engineering tasks, including but not limited to:Developing and reviewing structural calculations, drawings, construction specifications, and specialized analysesGathering, correlating, and interpreting technical dataPerforming independent technical analyses and engineering studies to develop project solutionsApplying federal, state, and local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering designSupporting projects requiring advanced engineering judgment and problem-solvingA working knowledge of applicable structural engineering codes and standards is required.Required Experience & EducationMinimum of 13+ years of structural engineering experienceBachelor's degree in Engineering (Structural or Civil discipline)Experience working with DOE sites and nuclear facilities is preferredProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not requiredAt Spectra Tech, Inc., our recruitment team is powered by real people in real time-personally reviewing every application with care and integrity.
