Project Engineer

Overview As a Project Engineer at Boeing EnCore, you will drive the successful completion of aerospace cabin interior projects within budget, schedule, and regulatory constraints. You’ll guide design engineers, align with cross-functional teams, and ensure deliverables meet customer and certification requirements. You’ll manage schedules, costs, and risk, while communicating progress and issues to stakeholders. This role offers the chance to influence cabin interior programs for Boeing Sky Interior components at a fast-paced, safety-focused company. ResponsibilitiesOwn assigned projects to deliver on time and within budget while meeting regulationsProvide technical input to program management for scheduling and resource planningPerform technical analysis, review specs and designs to estimate cost and durationMonitor progress and adjust schedules in response to changesAssess impact of customer changes on time, cost, materials, and processesIdentify necessary tests (functionality, durability, safety) and ensure completionProvide regular status updates using KPIs and data-driven insightsOversee Design Engineers for accuracy and technical competenceMaintain standard notes for 2D engineering drawingsSupport proposals with management/sales to address issuesMaintain safety, security, and confidentiality across tasksCollaborate with teams to complete related projects as needed Key requirementsBachelor in Mechanical Engineering0-2 years (Level I) / 2-5 years (Level II) / 5+ years (Level III) engineering experienceExcellent verbal and written communicationExpert level CATIA V5Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholdersProficiency with MS OfficeMS Project (preferred)PLM system knowledge (preferred)AutoCAD familiarity (preferred)Willingness to work extended or irregular hoursAuthorized to work in the United StatesAt-will employment statusStrong communicationLeadership across multidisciplinary teamsProblem solvingCATIA V5MS ProjectPLM systems
