#968 - Forward Deployment Engineer (Java)

Job Opportunity only available for professionals located in Latin America.We're looking for a Forward Deployment Engineer to partner with a client team and help build and ship production-grade software, data, and AI solutions. You'll work hands-on alongside client engineers and product teams, turning real business problems into reliable, scalable systems.This is a hands-on, client-facing role. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving open-ended problems, communicates well, and is comfortable owning solutions end to end.RequirementsAdvanced English level (B2/C1/C2) to ensure fluent communication across teams.+6 years of solid software engineering experience, with a track record of shipping to production.+5 years of hands-on experience with Java and SpringBoot, latest versions.Familiarity with modern data and ML tooling, and an interest in applied AI.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).Working knowledge of agentic AI frameworks (e.g., tool/function calling, MCP, multi-agent orchestration) sufficient to understand and adopt a client's plug-in–based agentic framework.Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with clients.ResponsibilitiesEmbed with a client team to understand their goals and translate them into practical technical solutions.Design and build production-ready software, data pipelines, and AI/ML or agentic workflows.Help establish good engineering practices - testing, CI/CD, observability, and maintainability.Build reusable components and accelerators that the client team can adopt and extend.Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver outcomes.What do we offer?100% Remote work.Competitive salary in USD.Type of contract: Independent Contractor with Venon Solutions LLC.Contract duration: Long-term.2 weeks of PTO (paid time off).Paid Holidays: from the Client's calendar (USA)Working hours: Full-time EST timezone, fully committed.
