Early Intervention Specialist/Behavioral Therapist

Seeking to make a difference? Here is your opportunity! We are seeking an Early Interventionist and a Behavioral Therapist to work in the Sacramento (95823, 95831, 95832, 95824, 95828).
As an Early Interventionist, you get to be in service to a unique population, full of undiscovered potential and help coax out their best. You will be there to help through the challenges of change and celebrate the milestones. You will be responsible for implementing individual programs as written or advised by the Behavior Supervisor/Clinical Team.
Please note, this position has the potential to become Full-time
-availability, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am-7p.m.
-multiple new hires; no less than 20 hours of availability open during these hours
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Working with infants/toddlers during one-on-one instruction
Collecting data and maintaining documentation for the assigned individual
Adhering to all agency policies and procedures
Act as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team Treating students with respect and dignity
Communicating effectively with all agency personnel and Providing direct instruction to the students
Working cooperatively with clients and families
Following behavioral programs, completing data forms as required, graph data accurately using forms provided Collecting all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
Meeting with all appropriate staff as necessary Providing documentation on progress for reviews and meetings
Acting as a role model for clients
Willingness to accept reassignment as required
Behavior Therapist Responsibilities:
Implements behavior intervention programs
Collect data on target behaviors
Parent/caregiver training
Run lessons on acquisition
Collaborate with the team to ensure client progress
Optional to pursue Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
Experience:
· 1 year of experience in child-oriented roles, such as daycare or tutoring (Required)
· 1 year of hands-on involvement in early childhood development such as daycare, kindergarten, one one-on-one tutoring, etc. (Required)
· Behavioral therapy: 1 year (Required)
· Early intervention: 1 year (Required)
· Content mastery of child development for 0-5 years old: 1 year (Required)
Requirements:
Possess a current California Educational Specialist Credential or Added Authorization in Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) granted by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing or a California University Certificate in Early Intervention, or
Have at least eight years of experience providing early intervention services, or
Bachelor’s degree in Child Development or at least 12 units in CD
Possess a bachelor’s degree in child development or a related field (i.e., Social Work/Psychology/Education/Human Services, or related field).
Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation
TB Clearance

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
