The Senior Business Analyst in this contract role will support the Retail Application Management team by developing high-quality software specifications that enable the delivery and maintenance of applications supporting automotive lease and loan originations. This role focuses on requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation, ensuring business intent is accurately translated into development-ready artifacts for internal and external engineering teams.Location and AvailabilityCandidate must be located within 2 hours of Columbus office and be able to come to the office 2-3 times a week as required. Flexibility to attend in-office days as pre-planned is required.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesManage multiple projects simultaneously, gathering and documenting requirements from both IT and business stakeholders. Translate business goals into system changes, create JIRA cards, identify gaps, coordinate with teams, and ensure timely delivery of updated functionalities.Ideal CandidateDeep analytical skills with strong communication abilities, comfortable working across business, technical, and operational stakeholders in a regulated financial services environment.Background in testing or software analysis; ability to break down vague requirements into clear documentation.Experience juggling multiple stakeholder priorities, crafting well-written JIRA cards, and uncovering new edge cases.Leadership qualities: coordinate card creation, ownership, and shipping of work.Experience in automotive finance is highly desirable.Experience in consumer finance is highly desirable.Previous exposure to the finance side of automotive transactions.Openness to using AI tools to supplement analytical activities.Revel IT is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
