Programmer / Setup Machinist

Job Title: Programmer / Setup Machinist Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Pay Range: $26 - $32 per hour Employment Type: Contract to Hire Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Programmer/Setup Machinist to join our manufacturing team in a contract-to-hire role. This position requires strong machining knowledge, hands-on programming experience, and the ability to set up and run precision CNC equipment in a job shop environment. Key ResponsibilitiesSet up CNC machines for production runsProgram at the machine using G & M codes (Fanuc controller) and/or MazatrolRead and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsPerform offsets and make necessary machine adjustmentsChange and manage cutting tools as requiredInspect parts and ensure quality standards are met throughout productionTroubleshoot machining issues and optimize setups for efficiency and accuracy Qualifications10+ years of CNC machining and setup experience preferredStrong knowledge of blueprint reading and geometric tolerancingExperience with on-machine programming (Fanuc and/or Mazatrol)Ability to perform precise setups in a job shop or production environmentStrong attention to detail and quality control mindsetAbility to work independently and solve problems on the floor What We OfferCompetitive hourly pay based on experienceContract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potentialConsistent full-time schedule (Monday-Friday)Supportive manufacturing environment focused on quality and growth Linked, LLC is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
