See where we rank on US News Job Description SUNY Delhi seeks a safety conscience and engaging Motor Vehicle Operator (MVO) (Bus Driver) to join the Transportation Department. The Motor Vehicle Operator (MVO) - Bus Driver is responsible for: The daily inspection of the bus(s) and will communicate deficiencies to the supervisor, or request a work order to correct concerns. Fueling the bus, checking all fluids, pressures, and adding fluids as needed. Maintaining records that include daily passenger logs and maintenance schedules. Cleaning the bus daily. Picking up and delivering students and campus staff to scheduled stops, such as off-site construction project sites, the local hospital, SUNY Delhi Health Center, lower campus, and other approved locations. Other duties assigned when not performing transportation duties Requirements Minimum Qualifications for the position are Must have an unrestricted NYS Drivers license CDL-Passenger Endorsement Preferred Qualifications Basic First Aid Certified Additional Information Schedule: TBD Obligation: Mid-May through mid-August. Work with facilities while classes are not in session.
