Senior Program Manager

We are leading a large-scale manufacturing expansion initiative involving the transformation of industrial facilities into high-output production environments. This role will drive one of the most complex facility ramp and operational readiness programs in the organization, coordinating construction, capital equipment deployment, engineering integration, workforce planning, and production startup activities. As the Senior Program Manager, you will serve as the central point of accountability for program execution, ensuring schedules, budgets, risks, and key milestones remain aligned across multiple workstreams. You will provide executive-level visibility into program performance and develop recovery strategies when challenges arise. Key Responsibilities Own and maintain the integrated master schedule across all program workstreams, including facility construction, capital equipment installation, engineering, manufacturing operations, and workforce readiness. Establish program governance processes, milestone reviews, and performance metrics to ensure successful execution. Identify critical path activities, bottlenecks, and schedule risks while developing mitigation and recovery plans. Lead weekly program reviews and coordinate cross-functional action items to drive accountability and execution. Manage and oversee external PMO partners, consultants, and third-party vendors to ensure deliverables are achieved on time and within scope. Develop and manage program cost baselines across all workstreams. Monitor budgets, actual expenditures, forecasts, and cost variances while providing recommendations for corrective action. Maintain and drive the program risk management process, including risk identification, mitigation planning, and executive escalation. Track procurement milestones for capital equipment and proactively manage lead-time, supply chain, and delivery risks. Cross-Functional Coordination Partner with construction, facilities, engineering, automation, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and handoffs. Coordinate schedules and dependencies between internal stakeholders, contractors, landlords, and suppliers. Support facility startup, equipment commissioning, operational readiness, and production ramp activities. Prepare executive reports and presentations outlining program status, risks, budget performance, and key decision points. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field. 8+ years of program or project management experience. Minimum 4 years managing large-scale industrial, manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, or mission-critical projects with budgets exceeding $50M. Demonstrated experience developing and managing integrated master schedules across multiple project workstreams. Strong knowledge of project controls, including: Critical Path Method (CPM) Earned Value Management (EVM) Resource planning and forecasting Schedule recovery and compression techniques Experience managing consultants, contractors, and third-party PMO organizations. PMP Certification or equivalent project management credential. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting manufacturing facility startup, production ramp, facility conversions, or large-scale expansion programs. Knowledge of capital equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning processes. Experience within data centers, advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, modular construction, warehouse automation, or industrial facilities. Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar enterprise scheduling platforms.
