Job Description 1. Provides direct clinical services through initial psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis,treatment planning and follow-up clinical/medication services.2. Provides services that are appropriate, medically necessary, and cost-effective.3. Prescribes and monitors psychiatric medications for clients, within scope ofauthority4. Maintains direct service productivity and volumes per departmental goals.5. Documents prescribed medications and direct services in the clinical recordthoroughly and timely, in accordance with regulatory, certification, andprofessional standards.6. Collaborates with other members of the staff team to effectively meet clienttreatment needs.7. Provides client medication education either individually or group-based.8. Remains current with professional literature and best practices in psychiatricnursing, and incorporates new knowledge in practice.9. Ensures that all required documentation is accurate, thorough, legible andtimely.10. Major documentation responsibilities include but are not limited to: Psychiatricevaluations, progress notes, medication records, and other client-relatedcorrespondence.11. RN and APRN with State of Ohio licensure. 12. Current certification for prescriptive authority in the State of Ohio.13. Minimum three (3) years of experience in adult psychiatry. EHR experienceneeded. Full- or part-time hours available.
