Administrative Assistant
Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the office by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This position is a problem solver, detail oriented, and has suburb communication skills. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and passionate about our mission.
Responsibilities:
· Nurture a positive working environment.
· Perform tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, confirming and updating calendars.
· Assist with various projects as assigned by the Executive Director.
· Plan, organize, and schedule company meetings occurring in the office and offsite.
· Review bank statements and reconcile daily.
· Complete projects for leadership team members.
General Duties:
· Oversee and achieve organizational goals while maintaining an efficient and productive office.
· Nurture a positive working environment.
· Participate in internal meetings.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; associates in related field a plus.
· Administrative experience in a non-profit setting preferred, but not required.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Ability to embrace organizational goals and enhance those around you to achieve the same.
· Work cohesively in a team-oriented environment.
· Ability to adhere to professional boundaries and confidentiality requirements.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Strong organizational skills and time management skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
