CT Tech Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,164 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Allied Health Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Weekend Overnight Hours per Shift: 8.0 Experience: 2 Years License: NYS CT Tech License Certifications: BLS, Injection Therapy Certification (preferred) Must-Have: - Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology - Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - Level 1 Trauma Center Experience Description: Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan. Strictly adhere to department policy and procedure for patient safety. Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging. Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable. Insert IVs when necessary for the test. Position patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility. Utilize safe patient handling techniques. Maintain accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components. Assure images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion. Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility. Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential. A patient and compassionate disposition is required.
