Job DescriptionDeployment EngineerOverviewWe are seeking a Deployment Engineer to support the delivery and implementation of advanced automation solutions for industrial environments. This role focuses on deploying systems that combine software, machine learning, and robotics to improve operational efficiency in manufacturing and warehouse settings.The ideal candidate will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful system integration, performance, and adoption. This position involves hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and coordination across multiple disciplines including hardware, software, and controls.ResponsibilitiesSupport on-site deployment activities and act as a technical representative during implementation through production readinessPerform commissioning of hardware, software, controls, and networked systemsCoordinate project tasks, timelines, and resources while serving as a point of contact between customers and internal teamsAnalyze customer operations and workflows to ensure systems integrate effectively into existing processesIdentify, document, and troubleshoot technical issues during deployment and escalate as neededVerify system performance prior to acceptance testing and customer handoffProvide customer training and support during system rolloutPerform ongoing maintenance, updates, and system improvementsTravel frequently to customer sites (up to 75-100%)Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (e.g., Industrial, Systems, Mechanical, Computer Science, or Supply Chain)Experience working with industrial robotic systems or automation equipmentStrong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and software systemsFamiliarity with Linux-based environmentsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environmentsEffective written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiencesWillingness and ability to travel extensivelyExperience working in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience in industrial automation, robotics integration, or system designFamiliarity with CAD tools or simulation software for system layout and testingExposure to PLC programming and industrial control systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.)Programming experience in languages such as Python or similarUnderstanding of network protocols and system integration conceptsExperience creating technical documentationAbout the Role
