Job Opportunity: Sierra County Auditor's OfficeThe Sierra County Auditor's office is recruiting for either a Chief Deputy Auditor or Senior Accountant DOQ. The Chief Deputy Auditor is an Exempt and at will Mid Management position that manages, coordinates, and directs the work of professional and technical support staff responsible for Auditor functions of the County: general accounting, payroll, accounts payable, tax preparation, audits, and related accounting functions for all county departments; performs related work assigned. This position also represents the Auditor in their absence. The Senior Accountant position is a Class 41 position in the Miscellaneous Unit and is a supervisory position that manages, coordinates, and directs the work of professional and technical support staff responsible for general accounting, payroll, accounts payable, tax preparation, audits, and related accounting functions for all county departments; performs related work assigned.
