Job Description Maintenance Technician / Industrial Maintenance Technician – Chattanooga, TN – $27.77/hrEmployment Type: Temp-to-HirePosition SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our client in Chattanooga, TN. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and mechanical systems to support safe and efficient production. This is a great opportunity to build your skills and grow into a long-term career.ResponsibilitiesInspect machinery and equipment for defects and perform preventative maintenance.Operate, maintain, and repair hydraulic presses, robots, assembly machines, boilers, compressors, and other plant equipment.Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems using an electric meter, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, soldering, and brazing.Work with quality, materials, and other support departments to meet production goals.Maintain the work area according to 5S standards and assist with material movement using a hand truck or forklift as needed.Handle major repairs and coordinate with contractors when required.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.2–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, boilers, robotics, and PLCs.Solid 480 VAC 3-phase electrical experience.Strong troubleshooting skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer operations.Ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, and technical information.Must provide own tools.Must pass a background and drug screen.Must have steel-toe shoes.Schedule & PayShift: Monday-Friday 3:00 PM-11:30 PMOvertime: On the weekends as neededPay: $27.77/hr, overtime availableAbout CloudRayCloudRay, based in East Windsor, NJ, is a trusted staffing partner with 25+ years of industry experience, connecting skilled talent with leading companies across the U.S. We specialize in industrial, logistics, IT, hospitality, and skilled trades staffing — ensuring candidates find stable opportunities with growth potential.
