OverviewKimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Practice Leader to expand our Land Development practice in Spokane, WA!ResponsibilitiesThe qualified individual will lead a Land Development team while building and managing relationships with key clientsLeadership responsibilities include:Operating with integrity and sound business principlesProviding vision, business planning and strategyEstablishing goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with your partners and teamGrowing and leading a land development practiceOur Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentorThe successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their businessWith success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownershipQualifications15+ years of relevant experience managing land development projectsRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenseExtensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land ownersStrong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3DBusiness development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected workAbility to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organizationAbility to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive mannerDemonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitablySalary Range:* $130,000 - $180,000* Eligible for Performance Based Bonus CompensationWhy Kimley-Horn?At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
