There you are.We are looking for an energetic, goal-focused, and determined go-getter (ahem, that’s you) to help our DDAGW team in Northeast Ohio!As an environmental specialist, you will evaluate public water systems, conduct field inspections, and consult with owners and operators. You will participate in monitoring activities such as reviewing operational reports and water analysis to ensure compliance with drinking water regulations. You will perform investigations of public water systems, including proposed well sites, complaints, operational problems, and emergency situations – while also preparing written reports, recommendations, and letters.You are going to review the implementation of drinking water regulations and ensure enforcement, and you will participate in and provide input on policies and procedures used in the implementation of the public drinking water program.You will provide technical guidance for public officials, owners, the public, and operators of public water systems.
